My work is in mind body transformation. This could be in the mind through my counselling practice, or yoga where I look at the physical body.
My experience of creating and leading a successful charity, places me in the ideal position to bring fresh ideas on how to lead, manage and motivate SME/charity sector businesses.
With my interpersonal, leadership and stakeholder management skills, I develop robust working relationships, credibility and confidence at all levels across business and with third parties.
Counselling
Counselling can be life changing for many. It takes courage to come forward and admit that life is far from perfect. In fact there is no such thing as a perfect life but we work to conform to society norms of what is deemed acceptable and this can cause us to feel inadequate, insecure and somewhat lacking.
Counselling with a supportive therapist has the ability then to create powerful changes in the way you deal with any situations or issues personal to you.
YOGA
I have long been interested in the mind body connection and how anxiety and stress play a part not only in our minds with thoughts racing but our physical body too culminating in aches/pains and niggles.
Yoga, not just Asanas (poses) has a host of benefits and incorporates breathing, meditation and supports the physical body too.
Yoga is popular amongst people who want to relax or increase their flexibility. It can develop strength, balance and co-ordination. Yoga can help you to sleep more soundly and promote your own self care.
Yoga has been shown to help with anxiety, stress and depression. It can also help to increase feelings of wellbeing. Some people find it helps with depression/arthritis
Yoga can make people feel better about themselves, which may help recovery and help to provide the confidence and motivation to maintain regular yoga practise and to make other beneficial lifestyle changes.

Therapeutic Coaching/Mentoring
With over 20 years of corporate experience and the last 7 years creating and leading a charity I have a wealth of experience in creating a vision whilst working flexibly to build a sustainable brand.
Combining therapeutic coaching I work in business to integrate therapeutic coaching in the workplace.
What is therapeutic coaching?
A counsellor with coaching skills is very different from a coach. A therapeutic coach adds a further dimension of supporting those in the work place to understand how conditioning from their past may be acting as a barrier in developing to your full potential in the workplace. Combine this with a lack of confidence in your own abilities to progress and feel “good enough’’ therapeutic coaching can support businesses to identify through performance reviews where specialist support could make the difference between a mediocre or a great employee who builds confidence.
