What is counselling?
Counselling offers a confidential and supportive space to explore the challenges you may be facing.
There are times in life when emotions can feel overwhelming, relationships become difficult, or circumstances leave us feeling stuck, lost or uncertain.
Counselling provides an opportunity to explore these experiences safely while developing greater self-awareness, emotional understanding and resilience.
How I Work
I offer trauma-informed counselling online throughout the UK and face-to-face counselling in Norfolk.
As an integrative counsellor, I draw upon a range of therapeutic approaches to meet your individual needs.
Together we can explore:
- Difficult emotions and experiences
- Anxiety and overwhelm
- Trauma and emotional pain
- Chronic illness and health challenges
- Grief and bereavement
- Identity changes
- Life transitions and uncertainty
- Emotional regulation and self-compassion
My role is not to give advice but to provide a supportive environment where you can gain insight, develop coping strategies and move towards meaningful change.
Sessions
We will begin by arranging an initial appointment and discussing what brings you to counselling.
Many clients start with six weekly sessions before reviewing their progress and deciding how they would like to continue.
Confidentiality
Everything discussed during counselling remains confidential, with the exception of circumstances where there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others, or where I have a legal safeguarding obligation.
